At Closet Finds, we believe that buying pre-owned clothing should feel just as trustworthy as buying new.

Every garment offered in our store is individually selected, carefully inspected and honestly presented before it becomes available for purchase.

Because we specialise in one-of-one pre-owned branded clothing, transparency is at the heart of everything we do.

Our goal is simple: when your order arrives, it should match the expectations created by the product listing.

Authenticity

Authenticity is one of our highest priorities.

Every branded item is individually reviewed before being listed for sale.

Our inspection may include evaluation of:

• labels and brand tags;
• stitching quality;
• construction details;
• materials;
• hardware;
• branding elements;
• overall consistency with known product characteristics.

If we cannot confidently verify the authenticity of a product, it will not be listed for sale.

Closet Finds does not knowingly sell counterfeit products.

Should any authenticity concern arise after purchase, we encourage customers to contact us immediately so the matter can be reviewed promptly and fairly.

Our Inspection Process

Every garment goes through an individual inspection before being photographed and listed.

During this process, we assess:

• overall condition;
• cleanliness;
• visible wear;
• fabric quality;
• structural integrity;
• missing components;
• repairs or alterations;
• stains or marks;
• holes or tears;
• branding details;
• measurements.

Any significant imperfection identified during inspection will be disclosed in the product description and, where possible, shown in the accompanying photographs.

Condition Ratings

To help customers understand the condition of each garment, we use a consistent grading system.

Excellent

The garment shows little to no visible signs of previous wear.

It remains in outstanding overall condition and requires no repairs.

Very Good

The garment has been previously worn but remains in very good condition.

Minor signs of wear may be visible upon close inspection but do not affect appearance or functionality.

Good

The garment shows moderate signs of normal wear consistent with previous use.

Minor fading, light fabric wear or other age-related characteristics may be present.

Any significant flaws will always be disclosed.

Fair

The garment displays noticeable signs of wear but remains suitable for continued use.

Any repairs, marks or visible imperfections will be clearly described in the product listing.

Product Photography

Unless otherwise stated, all photographs shown on our website are taken by Closet Finds.

We aim to present every garment as accurately as possible.

Images are intended to represent the actual item being sold.

However, colours may appear slightly different depending on:

• lighting conditions;
• camera settings;
• monitor calibration;
• mobile device displays.

Minor colour variations should not be considered product defects.

Measurements

Every garment is measured manually.

Measurements are provided to help customers compare the garment with similar clothing they already own.

Although measurements are taken carefully, slight manual variations of approximately ±1–2 cm may occur.

Because sizing standards vary significantly between brands, collections and production years, customers should rely primarily on the published measurements rather than the size printed on the garment label.

Vintage and Pre-Owned Clothing

Unlike newly manufactured clothing, pre-owned garments naturally develop characteristics through previous use.

Depending on the age of the garment, this may include:

• gentle fading;
• softened fabric;
• natural creasing;
• minor signs of wear;
• slight variations caused by age.

These characteristics are often part of the appeal of vintage and second-hand clothing and should not automatically be regarded as defects.

Any condition that materially affects the value or expected use of a garment will always be disclosed before purchase.

Choosing pre-owned clothing helps extend the life of quality garments and contributes to a more sustainable approach to fashion.

By giving carefully selected clothing a second life, every purchase helps reduce unnecessary textile waste and encourages more responsible consumption.
