1. Introduction

At Closet Finds, we carefully curate every item before it becomes available for purchase. Our collection consists primarily of unique pre-owned garments sourced from trusted suppliers and individually inspected before listing.

Because every product is a one-of-one piece, we encourage customers to carefully review all photographs, measurements, condition details and product descriptions before placing an order.

Nothing in this Returns & Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights granted to consumers under applicable laws of the Republic of Slovenia or the European Union. Where mandatory consumer protection legislation provides greater protection than this policy, the applicable legislation shall prevail.


2. Your Right to Withdraw

If you purchase from Closet Finds as a consumer, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order without providing any reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision by emailing:

The withdrawal period is met if your notification is sent before the fourteen-day period expires.

Once you have informed us of your decision, you must return the item within fourteen (14) days.


3. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a refund under your statutory right of withdrawal, returned products must be sent back in substantially the same condition in which they were received.

You may inspect and try on the garment only to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and fit, similar to what would be permitted in a physical retail store.

Returned items must not:

  • be washed;
  • be altered or repaired;
  • be intentionally damaged;
  • contain stains, odours or contamination caused after delivery;
  • show excessive wear beyond ordinary inspection.

If a returned item has lost value because it has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary, Closet Finds may reduce the refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.


4. One-of-One Products

Every item sold by Closet Finds is unique.

Unlike traditional retailers, replacement of an identical product is generally not possible because each garment is available in a quantity of one.

Where a refund is legally required, it will normally be issued to the original payment method rather than replacing the product with an identical item.


5. Product Condition

Closet Finds specialises in carefully selected second-hand clothing.

By purchasing from our store, you acknowledge that pre-owned garments naturally differ from newly manufactured products.

Normal characteristics of second-hand clothing may include minor signs of previous wear, slight fading, fabric softening or other age-related characteristics consistent with responsible prior use.

These characteristics should not automatically be considered defects.

Before any product is listed for sale, we inspect it individually.

Each listing includes:

  • high-quality photographs;
  • manually taken measurements;
  • an assessment of the garment's condition;
  • disclosure of any significant imperfections known to us.

Any material flaw that could reasonably influence your purchasing decision will be clearly described and, where possible, shown in the product photographs.

Minor signs of wear consistent with the age and intended use of the garment do not constitute a lack of conformity.


6. Measurements and Sizing

Sizing standards vary significantly between manufacturers, production years and garment collections.

Vintage sizing frequently differs from modern sizing conventions.

For this reason, every product listing includes manually taken measurements intended to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

Customers should rely on the published measurements rather than solely on the size shown on the garment label.

Although every measurement is taken carefully, minor manual measurement differences of approximately ±1–2 cm may occur.

Such variations are normal and do not constitute a product defect.

Closet Finds cannot guarantee how any garment will fit an individual customer.


7. Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to verify that it meets the conditions outlined in this policy.

If the return is accepted, we will process your refund without undue delay and, where applicable, no later than fourteen (14) days after:

  • receiving the returned goods; or
  • receiving proof that the goods have been returned,

whichever occurs first, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless another method has been expressly agreed.

If the returned item has diminished in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics or fit, Closet Finds reserves the right to reduce the refund to reflect that loss of value, where permitted by law.


8. Return Shipping Costs

If you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal without any fault on the part of Closet Finds, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item.

Closet Finds will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping where:

  • you receive the wrong item;
  • the item contains a significant defect or damage that was not disclosed in the product listing;
  • we made an error while preparing or shipping your order.

Please contact us before returning any product. We will provide the appropriate return instructions and, where applicable, arrange the return shipment at our expense.


9. Non-Conforming Goods

Your statutory rights regarding non-conforming goods are separate from your right of withdrawal.

If you believe that a product does not conform to the sales contract, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.

When contacting us, please include:

  • your order number;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • photographs showing the claimed defect or problem.

Each claim will be reviewed individually and fairly in accordance with applicable Slovenian and European consumer protection legislation.

Where a claim is justified, Closet Finds will provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement (where possible), an appropriate price reduction or a refund.

Because every item sold by Closet Finds is unique, replacement with an identical product will often not be possible.


10. Authenticity

Closet Finds is committed to selling authentic branded products.

Every branded garment is individually inspected before being listed for sale. If we are unable to confidently verify the authenticity of an item, it will not be offered for sale.

If you have any concerns regarding the authenticity of a product purchased from us, please contact us immediately. We will investigate the matter promptly and work with you to reach a fair resolution in accordance with applicable law.


11. Our Commitment to Accurate Product Listings

We strive to present every product as accurately and transparently as possible.

Each listing is prepared individually and typically includes:

  • detailed photographs taken by Closet Finds;
  • a written description of the garment;
  • manually taken measurements;
  • the labelled size, where available;
  • an assessment of the overall condition;
  • disclosure of any significant flaws, repairs or visible imperfections.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, display settings or lighting conditions during photography. Minor colour variations do not constitute a product defect.
